In Mitsy fashion, I'm reporting progress on the Sunshine afghan. I'm enjoying this project so much. It's going slowly, since I only work on it on my 20 min. commute, but I think I will get there one day.

They look so pretty.
I haven’t made any progress on my granny square blanket in months – I’m not sure that I’ll get there…
Oh, that collar was made using a bias tape type strip, but I only sewed it to the back, rather than over the edge.
So cute.
I love little crochet projects on the go that build up to something bigger.
You will finish it one day, these projects usually go like that, don’t they?: You pick it up, put it down for months, then feel the urge to find it again, work like a maniac for a week, put it down…
Thanks for the collar info! I have some shirts I want to make and was looking for a simple collar, yours is perfect!
Thanks! It’s just so rewarding to finish a square a day in just a couple of train rides. Putting them together is going to be daunting, though.
