Well, after many weeks of laboring over the bonnet pattern, it is finally finished and up for sale. I am very, very excited about it. Now I won't fret about it being cold for Easter.
I tried to write a straightforward row-by-row pattern, but it turned out a little chattier than I thought. OK, a lot chattier, but there is a good reason for it: I designed it so that it can be knitted and trimmed in one piece, and that requires step-by-step instructions on how to cast-on from the center and how to finish the neck band and start the crocheted trim differently depending on whether you are left or right-handed.
It is available as a Ravelry download (but you don't have to be a Ravelry member to purchase it… although, if you're not a member, you probably want to consider it). You can see more details and purchase it from here.
