Well, here starts my little attempt to give back to the online crafts community from which I have taken so much over the last few years.

I started out my homemaking life a few years ago armed with a wealth of knowledge passed down by generations of women but very little experience.  I was crafty but barely knew how to sew, could not knit for the life of me, was afraid of crochet (I know, I know, crazy) and could manage only a few very basic recipes.

Away from home and with a time difference that didn't always allow for a panicked call to my mom or a cousin, the internet became my lifesaver when I burnt a pot or could not for the life of me come up with something to cook for dinner.  Little by little, when on our short times together my mom managed to teach me the basics of sewing, cooking, knitting, etc., I endelessly searched the internet for tutorials, videos and anything that would help me fill in the many gaps on my own.

Seven years later I am subscribed to about 50 blogs, and there are a few others that I check regularly, every day I find something to inspire me and to help me achieve something I need to get done.   I hope this space will become useful to at least some of you out there.
